Flowly : An ally for mobility is born
A trip to Japan in 2015 marks the beginning of Flowly. The extensive use of smartphone in public transport was as an eye-opener. What if smartphone detection could enable the analysis of users’ movements ? Following a few months spent on research and development, the tool was granted a patent and thus ready to be deployed. Flowly was officially born in Reunion Island in 2018.
As a player in the mobility sector, this French start-up, created by Julien Tenenbaum, brings together different partners, all of which are public transport and data specialists. They bring their expertise to the development and marketing of the solution. Within two years, the company has already deployed its solution in some fifteen municipalities across France as well as in Ireland and Spain.
